about

With over an hour of original music and arrangement's inspired by Jay Rockefeller's love of the music of J.S. Bach. Includes fresh takes on Bach's classics and original material inspired by the beauty of West Virginia.

"Montana Skies" (cello-guitar) worked with composer Matthew Jackfert of WVPB to craft this collection of songs. Enjoy the music from Jay: A Rockefeller's Journey as a stand alone soundtrack.

About the musicians:

"Montana Skies" (Jonathan Adams -- Jenn Adams) Their name, Montana Skies, is a metaphor for musical freedom and joy. These award winning musicians create a unique mix of cello and guitar. With a busy touring schedule, "Montana Skies" has toured extensively in the U.S., as well as Canada, Asia, and Russia. Combining elements of classical, jazz and the face melting power of rock n' roll; Jonathan's guitar wizardry and Jenn's blazing electric cello combine to create a sound that is truly remarkable. Their music has been called everything from chamber rock to psychedelic strings - rest assured, this ain't your grannyʼs chamber music. Hear more from Montana Skies at MontanaSkiesMusic.com
